When in need for some art, why not creat it yourself… this is a nice way to decorate your walls, and the best is you can coordinate with what you already have around the room and house.
This is a great idea for those of you looking to cover a large blank space in your place, but don’t want to spend a fortune on a large piece. But it could also be pretty sweet in a smaller space (like the area above a toilet perhaps – idk whatever you want!)
So here’s what the piece looks like all finished up and on the wall. You can see, we did a 3 x 3, but obviously you could do however big or small you want depending on the size of the space.
Ok, so I lied, I haven’t hammered them into the walls yet. This is them lying out all beautifully on the dining room table.
You’re gonna need:
- MDF board
- Spray paint (a dark expresso brown, or black would work best)
- Scrapbook paper
- Spray adhesive
- Nails (2-3″ – 2 for each board)
